PRODUCT DETAILS
Our upcycled canvas dog bones are the perfect solution to the plastic pet toy problem. Built entirely of scrap organic cotton fabric, these toys ensure that no shredded plastic pieces and fluff will end up scattered around your house or in your pooch’s stomach. While they’re built to last, any pet toy is bound to end up getting torn apart by frenzied fiends. The difference here is that these are made of upcycled and compostable materials, so nothing is created just for a landfill. Even the stuffing is upcycled!
With a fun multicolored design, your puppies will never be bored! As each bone is made of upcycled scrap materials, the colors are grouped at random. Each pair will contain 2-6 toys with randomized colors, at this point we can’t take requests for certain color combinations or preferences.
GOTS certified for both ECOLOGY and SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY for the entire production process, including growing, harvesting, spinning yarn, weaving/knitting fabric, and sewing bags. Since they're made of unprocessed cotton, they bring additional benefits to our health and environment by avoiding highly toxic pesticides, fertilizers, bleaches, and dyes used in regular cotton crops. Designed, packaged, and shipped in the United States, cotton grown and bags manufactured in India.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Easy to care for, hand or machine wash in COLD water, then line or tumble dry. Be sure to allow the insides to fully dry after washing. Materials are prewashed, so shrinking should be minimal. As these are filled, rotation in the washer and dryer may shift the stuffing inside, which can be flattened out by hand as desired.
In the event of tearing, we’d encourage you to try patching these up before composting! Either sew any small tears together by hand, or add a patch of scrap fabric onto larger holes for prolonged use. At the end of life, toys can be chopped up and put into the compost for natural decomposition.
