These Organic Cotton Produce Bags replace plastic and net bags, and are great for both produce shopping and storage. The perfect tool for produce & bulk shopping and at home storage of all your fruits and veg, from delicate greens to sturdy potatoes. The mesh fabric is highly stretchable, allows for easy identification of contents, and provides excellent air circulation, while the muslin fabric provides a moisture barrier to keep your greens from wilting in the fridge.

Mesh recommended for thick skinned produce (potatoes, onions, apples, etc.)

Muslin recommended for delicate greens (lettuce, spinach, ect.), fresh produce, and bulk bin items

In addition to produce shopping, these bags are a multipurpose net bag perfect for laundering delicate items, children's toy organization, taking to the beach, hanging storage bags, and many more jobs!

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Easy to care for, hand or machine wash them in COLD water and flat or line dry. They are made of unprocessed fabric, never washed or bleached, so they will shrink about 7-10% after the first wash. Stretch them back out slightly by lightly tugging on the fabric and ironing flat.

Step 1: Bring Produce Bags when Shopping

Use Produce Bags in place of disposable plastic produce bags to hold your fruits & veggies. Muslin Bags are ideal for leafy greens like spinach & lettuce, or thin skinned produce like cauliflower or berries.

Step 2: Rinse Leafy Greens

Rinse off the leafy produce at home in cool water, gently shaking off any excess moisture. Then place the greens back into the Muslin Produce Bag, allowing the bag to soak up the extra water.

Step 3: Store Damp in the Fridge

Moistened bags and veggies can be placed in the crisper drawer to keep fresh for 1-2 weeks!

Step 3: Store Produce on the Counter

Other produce like tomatoes & avocados can be left right on the counter to continue ripening.

Step 4: Or Dry in the Fridge

Already ripened produce can be placed in the fridge for longer storage. Tip: If the produce isn't refrigerated at the store, don't refrigerate it at home!
